As a first time mom I really thought that I would be joining all the baby/toddler groups that were available. However, I found this extremely difficult to do. Maybe it was a confidence issue or when I look back I was struggling with being a new mother. I found myself at home trying to create new ideas to get my little girl learning through fun and play.
My daughter Elaina is now 3 years old and I've learnt all I know from her! I really wanted to launch Kate's Sensory Box earlier but I didn't emerge from the first time mother haze until Elaina was around one. The next year consisted of pure exhaustion running around after a toddler and the following year an International Pandemic was upon us.
When is it ever the right time to do anything like this?
So here I am trying to create Sensory Boxes tailored to your needs to encourage your little ones to learn through play in your own home.
You're all amazing!
To everyone of you who have supported me so far, thank you for your kind words, encouragement, purchases, shares and reviews, Thank you!
It really is a pleasure creating the Sensory Boxes and your kind feedback is what makes it even more worthwhile.
If my little venture continues to grow I have many more ideas for other age range boxes to come in the future, wish me luck!

A brilliant educational way to introduce reading to your baby. A wonderful way to involve your little one by developing a sense of touch and feel. (Usbourne or DK Book)
Studies suggest that the tenticles of the knitted octopus can remind newborn babies of the umbilical cord and can offer a sense of safety, like inside the womb.

Helps develop creativity, motor skills and hand-eye coordination. A lovely way to introduce music making with sensory play.
